Mrs. Angela Mayes

Fourth and Fifth Grade

Hello and welcome to 4th and 5th grade!  I'm Angela Mayes and I teach 4th and 5th grade math along with 5th grade reading and spelling.  Elkton Elementary School and the students are very important to me!  For 20 years now, I can say that I have watched as students have grown, learned, and developed from  young kindergartners to adults. 

My educational background includes a 1985 A.A.S. degree in Office Administration from Columbia State Community College, a 1991 B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Middle Tennessee State University, a 1994 Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Middle Tennessee State University, and a 1997 +45 from Cumberland University and Tennessee State University. 

I am married to Randy Mayes.  We have one son, Austin.  I hope that this year I can help your child to excel
and reach his/her highest potential!
