MTSU Webcasts

For Inservice Credit

The Center for Educational Media at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) offers free programming for K-12 teachers across the state by satellite television, cable television, and webcasting.

Live professional development workshops will generally be broadcast and webcast on Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 P.M. CST and on Tuesdays from 9:00 AM—10:00 AM CST.

Programs are webcast annually, then are available as archived programs. The Center has archived over 150 programs from previous years for on-demand viewing online. Teachers and/or assistants may participate in the live program webcasts and may access the archived programs online for optional inservice credit.

There is no need to complete an Optional Inservice Credit Form for these webcasts.  All participants must complete a session evaluation form online, then simply print and turn in a copy of the certificate of completion with the Inservice Verification Form.  The Center will also email the Supervisor of Instruction a list of participants, along with the workshops completed and the amount of time spent on each workshop, as a further verification of completion of requirements for inservice credit.

For details about the webcasting option or to participate in a live or archived
